The Macotta Club hosted the Lansing Small Business Support Hubs Celebration, a special event co-hosted with MEDC, LEAP, and SBAM, to celebrate the designation of entrepreneurial hubs in our region.

We placed a substantial $2 million order to procure essential equipment for 16 food-based businesses. This significant investment marks a pivotal step in enhancing operational capacities.

John O'Meara, founder of Upper on the Rocks Hospitality, was brought on as project consultant to lead the way in creating a stellar dining experience for our guests.

The Macotta Club was formally announced to the public at the State of Downtown Lansing.

We branded The Macotta Club, and its name was carefully chosen to give a nod to the history of its building and future location.

The Macotta Club was underway! Funds were raised, partnerships were formed, and concept drawings were created. The ground floor of the Knapp’s Building was cleared to make way for construction.

A concept was born. Plans to build an incubator program that supported Lansing’s next generation of culinary talent started to come together. How would we do it, how would we fund it and how fast could we get it off the ground? We went to work on answering these questions.
